The Old Strathcona Antique Mall (OSAM), a fixture in Edmonton’s vintage and antique scene, has been listed for sale.
In a Facebook post, owners Betty and Bobbi announced their plans to retire and spend more time with family.
“As the proprietors of OSAM for the past 16 years, Betty and Bobbi are immensely grateful for the support from staff, vendors, and the community,” the post reads.
“This local gem could not have been created without this ongoing support.”
Over the past decade and a half, the OSAM has become Edmonton’s go-to antique shop, drawing visitors from across the city and Canada.
It’s a go-to spot for out-of-town guests and those looking for an afternoon of “antiquing” with friends.

The business is turnkey, situated in a character building in a high-traffic area on Gateway Boulevard. The landlord is supportive and hopes to see a new tenant carry on the Old Strathcona Antique Mall in this location.
“The desire is to have someone who will continue the welcoming vibe of OSAM, providing an award-winning destination for Edmonton and the surrounding community.”
Just like the revival efforts over at the historic Princess Theatre, this is one piece of the city that we hope to see carry on!
