Edmonton Oilers fans can now get a behind-the-scenes tour at Rogers Place.

Those wanting to explore the depths of one of the NHL’s finest arenas now have that opportunity, after the organization revealed a brand-new tour program. This will allow fans the ability to go on a guided tour of Rogers Place on off-days between Oilers games and concerts.

The tour will allow fans a chance to check out the Oilers Hall of Fame room, press-level in the rafters of the arena, as well as the entrance to Edmonton’s dressing room and the walkout toward the ice and benches.

It’s the kind of peek behind the curtain not available to fans who attend events at Rogers Place.

While the Oilers dressing room is high up on the list of Rogers Place facilities for fans to see, it will not be included on any of the tours. This is due to the room often being occupied by either players or coaches, meaning that the schedule for an empty room would interfere with booking a bit too much.

The NHL visitors’ dressing room, however, will be included on the tour.

Those wanting to book a tour have two options to choose from. The classic tour is listed as being about 90 minutes, with tickets ranging from $20 for youth under 12 years old to $30 for adults. The next available classic tour date is December 22.

The VIP Group Tour is a $3,000 experience for groups up to 20 and includes a one-hour reception in the Oilers Hall of Fame room. Each guest will receive two drinks as well as a selection of hors d’oeuvres. The tour itself is longer as well, at approximately 1.5 hours.

Tickets for each experience are currently available for purchase on the Rogers Place website.
