A new pool just for dogs to swim in has opened in Alberta
If you’re looking to treat your four-legged friend to some serious fun, a new pool has opened in central Alberta that is just for dogs to enjoy.
Hydro Hounds in Hinton, a town about three hours west of Edmonton, started taking bookings for its new facility earlier this week.
“After months of planning, building, and preparing, we’re so excited to welcome you and your pups to our brand-new private indoor dog swimming facility. Whether your dog loves to swim, needs low-impact exercise, is building confidence around water, or simply wants to have fun, we can’t wait to meet you,” the location stated on its Facebook page.

Bookings for the pool can be made online, with a 30-minute private swim costing $30, while a 45-minute private swim costs $40. Private swim packages are also available.
Every booking includes the exclusive use of the facility — no unfamiliar dogs — so your pup can enjoy their time in the water, while life jackets, towels, toys, and an air dryer are available.
