A new neighbourhood park is coming to St. Albert’s newest community, with Redpoll Park set to open in Riverside next spring.

The 0.63-hectare park is planned for the neighbourhood near Redpoll Wynd and Rosa Street and will feature a small pump track, covered seating, a trio hammock area for children, and an open green space.

The pump track will be the first hard-surfaced track of its kind in St. Albert, giving residents a place to ride bikes, scooters, and skateboards, as well as an accessible space designed to accommodate wheelchairs.

It will also include a seating area with picnic benches and a shaded place, perfect for sunny summer days at the park.

Construction is expected to begin this fall, with the park and its new amenities expected to be finished in Spring 2027.
