A new commercial centre is in the works for southwest Edmonton

A new commercial centre is in the works for a rapidly developing pocket of southwest Edmonton, with a multi-use complex set to be constructed in Windermere.
The Loop at Windermere Gate is a new 23,500-square-foot, two-storey commercial building at 6103 Andrew Loop SW, featuring roughly 16 commercial retail units.
The City of Edmonton issued a building permit for the project on Oct. 14, 2025.
The Loop at Windermere Gate will be the newest modern commercial, retail, and office hub in the Windermere area.
