A popular fitness centre is constructing its fourth Edmonton location
A new fitness facility is being built in Southeast Edmonton, marking the fourth location of a popular gym chain in the city.
Earlier this month, the City of Edmonton issued a building permit for Movati Athletic’s newest location in Harvest Hills, with construction on the new fitness center underway.
The gym will be located at 514 50th Street SW in the Charlesworth community, situated in Edmonton’s far southeast corner.
Movati Athletic is known for its premium amenities, including indoor pools, Pilates classes, hot yoga studios, women’s-only fitness areas, high-end equipment, and more.

It has three other locations in Edmonton, including Windermere, Manning, and its Albany fitness centre, which is slated to open in Spring 2025.

Alberta Major Projects pegs the cost of the new facility at $20 million.
Construction for the Charlesworth location is expected to be completed by 2025.
