A man and a woman are dead after being involved in a head-on collision in Edmonton Friday night.
The crash happened at about 10:30 pm near 17 Street and 246 Avenue, according to the Edmonton Police Service. A third person was also seriously injured.
A man, 39, was driving a motorcycle down 17 Street with a woman, 37, on the back. The bike collided head-on with a southbound Ford Focus. Both riders were pronounced dead at the scene.

The EPS’ Major Collision Investigations Section is looking into what happened, and speed is considered a factor in the crash.
