Fans react to McDavid's amazing highlight-reel goal against the Leafs

Hockey fans are understandably losing their minds over Connor McDavid’s highlight-reel goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Edmonton Oilers beat the Leafs 6-4 in Toronto Monday, with the captain putting on quite the show in his hometown, finishing with four points — including his ridiculous third period goal.

Last night’s game brings McDavid’s league-leading point total up to 69, and made it his 20th regular season game with 3+ assists, tying him for fifth-most in NHL history by a player before age 23.

McDavid’s being applauded for his calculated bursts of speed that completely undressed Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly.
