It seems luck was in the air this weekend, as four people in Alberta are walking away with some life-changing Lotto 6/49 prizes.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says four people in Alberta are much richer after winning on the classic draw and the Extra on Saturday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw.
A ticket purchased by someone in Alberta nabbed $98,226.40 after matching five of the six numbers on the classic draw and matching the bonus.
There were three Extra winners, too, with a ticket sold somewhere in Alberta matching all seven digits to net $250,000, while another sold somewhere in the province and a ticket sold in Calgary matching the last six digits netting $100,000.
The Lotto 6/49 classic draw was not won over the weekend, with the next draw on Wednesday, April 16 sitting at a cool $48 million.
The winner or winners have one year to claim their prize and can start their claim by contacting Player Care at 1-800-665-3313.
