Popular Canadian ramen chain has opened a new Edmonton location

This September, Kinton Ramen opened up a new location in Edmonton, marking the second official location of the chain in the city.
Kinton Ramen is a Canadian ramen chain established in 2012 which has grown into one of the largest ramen chains in North America. Just this past month, the chain opened up its second location in Edmonton and its fifth in all of Alberta.
The new location in the Windermere neighbourhood held its soft opening on Sept. 21 and is now officially open daily from noon to 9 p.m. In addition to dining in, this Windermere location also started offering takeout on Sept. 29.

The first Kinton in Edmonton opened in 2025 in Terra Losa, and after over a year, we couldn’t be more excited to get more of their ramen in the city.
From special ramen dishes to delicious sides like takoyaki and kaarage, the menu is full of delectable Japanese eats to choose from. In addition to the food, Kinton occasionally offers drink specials, like its Lychee Cream Tea or Yuzu Coconut Marble Ramune.
If you’re looking for a quick new spot to eat in Windermere, Kinton Ramen is ready to serve up a flavourful bowl of whatever you’re looking for. For those in the area, this is definitely a spot to consider visiting soon.
