There’s a new hiking spot to check out just outside Edmonton this winter: Leduc County is launching a winter trail at Jubilee Park as part of a new pilot project.
The park, on the north shore of Wizard Lake, just under 70 km south of Edmonton, will have a 1.9-kilometre trail open to the public on Saturday, Nov. 1, until the end of winter.
In addition to it being a prime new hiking spot, visitors can also take up snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and winter biking on the trail.

Leduc County
Leduc County is asking anyone who uses the trail to fill out a short survey to help decide whether it should become a permanent feature.
If you plan on visiting in the winter months, always use caution, watch for ice and wildlife, and clean up after your pets so everyone can enjoy the trail!
