It’s an exciting time, as Jimmy John’s is expanding in Canada with 12 locations scheduled to open across the country before the year’s end.

Jimmy John’s has just opened its second location at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls on Aug. 27, and it has just announced a wave of new stores coming across Canada to join.

The popular American sandwich chain offers a mix of cold and toasted sandwiches featuring premium meats, fresh vegetables, and fresh-baked bread, as well as its own fresh kettle-cooked potato chips.

Currently, there are two open and operating locations in Canada: one in Etobicoke, Toronto, and the new location at the Fallsview Casino.

The announcement came in late August, with 12 new stores, according to the last count, planning to open across Canada.

New stores are expected to open in several parts of the country, including Winnipeg, Ottawa, Barrie, Windsor, as well as additional locations in Toronto, and, most importantly, right here in Edmonton.

“We have a big appetite for opening new stores because we know how much our fellow Canadians appreciate a fantastic-tasting sandwich with fresh ingredients,” says Peter Mammas, the visionary behind Jimmy John’s introduction and expansion across Canada. “We’re always on the hunt for the world’s best food brands and are committed to making these available right here in our country. And Jimmy John’s is right up there – pickle or not.”

Although the location remains unknown, it’s a time of celebration for Jimmy John’s sandwich fans in Edmonton and across Canada.

All 12 restaurants are slated to open before the new year, so there’s no need to worry about waiting. It’s just around the corner!
