Here's how you can get half-off mains at IKEA Canada restaurants

If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to switch up your meals during the week, IKEA Canada offers an amazing deal at restaurants across the country.

The big-box store started “Swe-dish Thursdays” on Feb. 19, 2026. Every Thursday, IKEA Canada Family members and IKEA Business Network members can buy one eight-piece Swedish Meatballs, eight-piece Plant Balls, eight-piece Chicken Balls, eight-piece Falafel Balls, Salmon Filet, or six-piece Cod Balls and receive 50 per cent off.

The deal is only valid in-store at IKEA Canada locations, and the purchase must be made in a single transaction. It’s limited to one transaction per person while supplies last. This offer cannot be combined with other promotional deals.

If you want to work up an appetite before taking advantage of the restaurant deal, every Thursday from Feb. 19, IKEA Family members who spend $130 or more in-store after 11 a.m. (2 p.m. at the Downtown Toronto location) get $35 off their purchase.

The purchase must be made in a single transaction. Canadians can redeem this offer in-store by showing their IKEA Family card or IKEA Business Network card at check-out and scanning the coupon received from the Swedish Restaurant.

“Offer not valid on kitchen cabinets, kitchen fronts, kitchen fixed interiors, kitchen worktops, kitchen appliances or previous purchases, IKEA food or Swedish food market or items sold from the As-Is department,” notes the company’s site. “Offer cannot be used to purchase products for resale and is not applicable to bulk purchases, as solely defined by IKEA, except as approved under the IKEA Business Network program.”

This deal cannot be combined with other promotional offers.

The Swedish furniture giant is known for its affordable deals at its bistro. Earlier this month, IKEA brought back its $1 breakfast deal for one day only.
