How to watch tonight's Edmonton Oilers preseason game against Kraken

Sep 24 2025, 5:00 pm

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl will be on the ice for tonight’s Edmonton Oilers preseason game, but it won’t be on TV.

For the third consecutive time this preseason, the Oilers will not have their game featured on TV in Alberta. The Seattle Kraken are in town tonight, but fans will once again have to rely on an online stream if they aren’t planning on watching the game live.

Oilers Plus holds the exclusive broadcast for McDavid and Draisaitl’s preseason debut, meaning fans will need to buy a subscription to the streaming service.

As always, radio listeners can also get the game on 880 CHED.

A monthly Oilers Plus subscription is usually $8.99, while a yearly one retails at $59.99. However, the team is offering a significant discount that will reduce the cost of a yearly subscription all the way down to $17.99 if you use the promo code “PRESEASON25.”

This will be a good one to watch for Oilers fans as several veterans will be making their preseason debut alongside McDavid and Draisaitl. Newcomer Andrew Mangiapane will be in the lineup, as will defencemen Mattias Ekholm and Evan Bouchard.

Training camp standouts Quinn Hutson, Atro Leppanen, and Connor Clattenburg will also suit up. Stuart Skinner is expected to make his first start of the season as well.

880 CHED’s Bob Stauffer was able to get the full lineup from the morning skate.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. MDT at Rogers Place.
