10 Edmonton companies hiring positions during May

Despite coronavirus restrictions, there are some companies still looking to fill positions in Edmonton this month.

So brush up that resume and apply for the dream job you’ve always wanted.

Who: This Edmonton-based video game studio was established in 1995 and is known for Anthem, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Baldur’s Gate, MDK 2, Neverwinter Nights, and its Star Wars titles. It’s now under the EA Games umbrella.
Jobs: BioWare is hiring nine positions in Edmonton in art, game product management, production, and software development.
Perks: The office is conveniently located in Epcor Tower, and staff have access to an onsite gym. There’s also free breakfast every morning. When not designing games, staff have plenty of opportunity to play them. There’s also a social culture at the company with ski trips, tea times, dragon boating, soccer, and board game nights.

Who: This Alberta financial services company translates the complex world of banking and investing into simple solutions for clients. It’s a home-grown company that’s been operating in the province for more than 80 years.
Jobs: They’re hiring four Edmonton-based positions right now, including a Director of Real Estate, a Portfolio Manager for Energy Services, a Director, and an OH&S Analyst.

Jobs: Spud.ca is hiring six positions in Edmonton, ranging from a full-time Assistant Manager of Operations to warehouse staff to delivery drivers.

Physicians can claim payment for services given to patients by snapping a quick picture and logging it on the app. It even gives doctors advice on how to bill the province more effectively. The business prides itself on having safe and secure servers here in Canada.
Jobs: Dr. Bill is preparing to launch in Alberta this spring and is hiring an experienced Billing Agent who will work remotely from anywhere in the province.
