Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) will have an adjusted schedule over the holidays that will take effect early next week.

From December 23, 2019 to January 3, 2020, ETS will adjust its schedules with some reductions or additions.

On Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, 2019, the city says most bus routes will operate on a reduced Sunday schedule, while Capital and Metro Line LRT will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

There are 52 routes that will be cancelled on Christmas Day.

On Boxing Day, Thursday, December 26, 2019, most buses and LRTs will operate on a Saturday schedule, and additional trips will operate Route 4 between West Edmonton Mall and South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

On New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2019, ETS and DATS are encouraging safe travel by offering free service from 6 pm to the end of service.

On New Year’s Day, January 1, 2020, ETS will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

ETS says regular transit service will resume on January 4.

All other changes to service are available online.
