How much beer costs at Edmonton Oilers games this season
Watching an NHL hockey game isn’t complete without a cold, crisp beer in hand.
Beer and hockey have become synonymous with each other over the decades, but fans have become increasingly concerned about the cost of brews across the NHL. It seems like beer prices have exploded over the last little while, with many fans opting to skip the concessions altogether to save some money.
There were rumours over the summer that beer prices would be skyrocketing to over $20 at Rogers Place this season, but after Saturday’s preseason opener against the Winnipeg Jets, Offside can confirm there is no validity to those claims.
It seems that the concession prices will remain in their usual range, with packaged domestic beer (473ml) being the cheapest option for fans at $16.50. Draught domestic beer (24oz) of either Molson Canadian or Coors Light will cost fans $18.50.
Craft and imported packaged beer (473ml) will stick as the in-between option at $17.

If beer isn’t your thing, there are a bunch more alcoholic options being offered at general concessions, which include:
- Sipp vodka caesar (473ml): $18.50
- Strongbow cider (473ml): $18.50
- Coors Seltzer (473ml): $18.50
- Sipp N’Sod (473ml): $18.50
- You Bet! Iced Tea (473ml): $18.50
- Clink cocktail: $18.25
There is also a caesar bar located on the Rogers Place main concourse, which will be selling various versions of the drink for $18.25 that include a variety of different add-ons to choose from.
Among the non-alcoholic options are fountain pop at $9.75 for 20oz or $10.75 for 32oz, as well as water bottles for $9 and Red Bull at $9.25.

On the food side of the menu, the Oilers will continue to offer Pizza 73 options, which go for $11.75 by the slice. Hot dogs cost $10, while popcorn will clock in at $10.25. Various snacks such as chips and candy will all go for $7.50.

Fans already got a taste of the concessions during Saturday’s preseason opener, and they’ll get another chance when the Oilers return to Rogers Place on Sept. 26 to close out their preseason schedule against the Calgary Flames.
