Edmonton is currently under a heat warning from Environment Canada as temperatures in the city exceed 29°C.
The weather agency says Edmontonians should consider rescheduling outdoor activities to cooler times of the day, and remember to take frequent breaks from the heat by spending time in cool, indoor spaces if possible.
