New general manager of an NBA team is from Edmonton and he's not even 40 yet

Edmonton’s Onsi Saleh is moving on up, being promoted to the role of general manager by the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks today.
A graduate from the University of Alberta, Saleh has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and an after-degree in history. He later earned a Juris Doctor (JD) from Tulane University Law School and was named to the San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40 list last year at age 37.

Atlanta first hired Saleh last year to work as the team’s assistant general manager, working under GM Landry Fields, who was fired today.
Saleh also has experience with the Golden State Warriors, where he became their vice president of basketball strategy and team counsel. He got his start in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs, working his way up to become the team’s director of strategy and process/chief of staff.
