Rutherford House Remembers

What: A reflection of Canadian soldiers’ sacrifice and bravery. Explore different aspects of the Great War during the afternoon, including trying soldiers’ food, poetry, letters and music, and mascots like Winnie the bear and Lestock the coyote.

Remembrance Day Memorial

What: North West Edmonton Seniors Society 55+ Activity Centre, Calder Community League, and the 3rd Canadian Division Support Group Signal Squadron presents the 2019 Remembrance Day Memorial. The morning starts with an interdenominational church service, followed by a parade to the Cenotaph and an outdoor service and laying of the wreaths. There will be a reception in the Calder Community League Auditorium after with coffee, hot chocolate, and a live performance by the Calder Cuties.
