When Evander Kane isn’t playing playoff hockey with the Edmonton Oilers, he’s looking good off the ice.

The 33-year-old power forward is finally back to playing hockey and has been an effective player for the Oilers through the first round. Despite missing the entire regular season due to multiple injuries, Kane has recorded two goals and three points in his first five games back in the postseason.

As he and the Oilers wait for their second-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights, Kane showed off an off-ice project he has been working on.

On Monday afternoon, Kane revealed a new line of merchandise from his clothing brand Defy that collaborated with the Oilers.

This new merch line includes three new Oilers-themed hoodies that are now available at the Oilers team store, Ice District Authentics, both in-person and online. The hoodies all share a similar design with the Oilers logo featured on the right shoulder and Kane’s Defy logo being featured on the chest and back.

They are available in each of the Oilers’ primary colours of blue, orange, and white, carrying a price tag of $199.99.

Kane launched the Defy brand back in 2023 while a member of the Oilers. The name refers to Kane defying the odds multiple times throughout his professional hockey career. The brand initially dropped a line back when it was announced, but has been fairly quiet since then.

This is just the second drop of merchandise since the brand was revealed. Some items in that first drop are still available online at discounted prices.
