More sun in store for Edmonton's forecast this week

Edmonton is set to see six more days of sun according to this week’s forecast.

According to Environment Canada, sun and a little bit of clouds are on the horizon for Edmonton for the week, with nice weather expected to carry into the weekend.

Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 21°C, and Thursday not far behind with a high of 19°C.

The showers will start Sunday night and carry into Monday, so we may as well enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

“Please know you can go outside and enjoy the sunshine,” said Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw in a press conference Monday afternoon.

“Anyone who is not sick, or a close contact of a confirmed case, can be outside with a small number of friends as long as you stay at least two metres away from each other, and you don’t share food or drink.”
