Buckle up, YEG. We’re in for a wild ride this week, weather-wise.

Edmonton temperatures will swing 22ºC between Tuesday and Sunday, with everything from snow to clear, sunny skies expected.

According to The Weather Network, it’s -3ºC in the city right now, feeling more like -9ºC, with a few clouds scattered across the sky.

Things are forecast to warm up from here, and we could see a high of 6ºC on Tuesday afternoon, dipping down only as low as -1ºC overnight.

Wednesday is expected to reach 7ºC; however, some mixed precipitation is predicted, bringing approximately one centimetre of snow to the city, and temperatures will drop to -6ºC overnight.

The weather varies throughout the rest of the week, with a high of 1ºC for Thursday and 5ºC on Friday, before rising to 9ºC on Saturday.

Sunday warms up dramatically, reaching a balmy 16ºC; however, it might not be the best day to get outside, as Edmonton’s skies will be cloudy and there could be showers.

Temperatures look steady moving into next week. There will be a mix of sun and clouds, and a high of 7ºC is forecast for Monday.

The weather may be all over the place, but at least there’s only one day of snow predicted. Here’s hoping some spring sunshine settles in soon.
