Two days after Las Vegas waged a billboard attack on the Oilers, Edmonton has clapped back.
Ahead of Game 4 at Rogers Place on Monday night, Las Vegas sports bar PKWY TavernĀ attempted to troll Oilers fans by purchasing 165 billboards throughout Edmonton that were designed to poke fun at their heartbreaking loss in Game 3.
Though the ad was supposed to run right up until puck drop tonight at 7:30, the local billboard company chose to pull them down much earlier after receiving plenty of complaints from Oilers fans.
Today, a pro-Oilers billboard was spotted in Las Vegas.
It seems the Canadian Brewhouse purchased the billboard located outside a Hooters restaurant and the OYO Hotel and Casino.
The billboard reads: “3-1. The odds are in our favour! Go Oilers Go!”

While the billboard is located just five minutes from T-Mobile Arena, meaning that several Golden Knights fans — and perhaps even some players — will see it as they head to the rink for Game 5.
“The moment we saw their billboard, it was a āhold our beerā kind of moment. The Oilers are buzzing, and we had to match that energy,” a Canadian Brewhouse spokesperson told Daily Hive.
āItās all in good fun ā a bit of friendly fire between two hockey cities.”
