If your weekend travel plans involve taking the LRT in Edmonton, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a temporary closure this weekend.

According to Edmonton Transit Service (ETS), Capital Line LRT service will be suspended between Churchill and Clareview stations on Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20, while crews complete track work north of 115 Avenue.

Replacement buses will run between the two stations every seven to eight minutes from the start of service until 7 p.m., then every 10 minutes until the end of service on both days.

The Valley Line Southeast won’t be affected by the work. Metro Line trains will also continue to Century Park Station during the closure, rather than turning around at Health Sciences/Jubilee Station.

Locations of all replacement bus stops can be found on the ETS website.
