You can now track COVID-19 data in Edmonton related to health impacts, the City’s responses, and the number of complaints and peace officer patrols.

The City of Edmonton launched the COVID-19 Data Dashboard to consolidate information related to the coronavirus in the city, including Alberta Health Services Edmonton zone data, temporary shelter usage, coronavirus related complaints, peace officer patrols, and business-related investigations.

The dashboard uses data compiled from public AHS and City sources and is updated daily. Some information is delayed up to 36 hours as it is gathered from a number of sources.

The data also includes a date range slider, so users can access data from specific periods.

From April 16 to May 12, there have been 386 physical distancing complaints, and 1,174 verbal warnings issued by peace officers related to mass gatherings, off-leash dogs, entering a closed area, physical distancing, and some for unspecified reasons.

Seven tickets have also been issued by peace officers.

As of May 10, 2019, there are 62 active cases of coronavirus in the AHS Edmonton Zone, there have been 12 deaths, and 437 recoveries.

To date, 50,265 tests have been conducted in the Edmonton Zone.
