If you’re on the hunt for holiday gifts this weekend, Alberta’s largest craft fair is taking place at the University of Alberta’s Butterdome.
Running from Dec. 4 to 7, the Butterdome Craft Sale brings together hundreds of Canadian artists, makers and designers, offering everything from ceramics and jewellery to clothing, woodwork, food, and more.
The long-running market has been a beloved Edmonton holiday staple since 1990, giving shoppers a chance to meet makers in person and pick up something handmade for the holidays.

The event is run by Signatures, a Canadian organization launched in 1980 by glassblower John Ladouceur and jeweller Casey Sadaka. They started the company to give local artisans more places to sell their work and have grown into some of the country’s most popular handmade markets.
