Waterton Lakes National Park

If you feel like heading south, Waterton offers some of the most stunning mountain views in Alberta. The park has plenty to offer, from crystal-clear lakes and dense forests to scenic hiking trails and a charming village with shops, restaurants, and accommodations. There’s also a ton of wildlife in the park, like elk, bison, and bighorn sheep.
Kananaskis Village

Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Kananaskis Village is a charming destination just south of Banff. It makes for a perfect day trip, offering breathtaking views, stunning trails, and cozy spots to grab a bite to eat or relax while taking in all the beautiful scenery.
Crowsnest Pass

Located in Kananaskis Country, Sheep River Provincial Park not only features stunning mountain views, but it also meets the foothills, giving visitors the best of both worlds. Abraham Lake

In the winter, bubbles will freeze as they rise towards the surface of the water, creating a very unique and magical scene.
