Several Canadian lottery players have a lot more to celebrate as they head into Canada Day.
This past weekend produced plenty of big winners, starting with the Lotto Max draw on Friday, June 27.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Max jackpot were 08, 12, 15, 27, 31, 42, 47, and bonus 41.
While no one matched all seven numbers to win the $50-million jackpot, a lottery player in Ontario matched six out of seven, including the bonus number, taking home the second lottery prize of $216,083.90.
Sadly, no one won the Maxmillions prize, but someone from Campbell River, B.C., did snag the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra prize. The winning numbers for that were 9, 11, 13, and 70.

The Lotto 6/49 draw took place on Saturday, June 28. Unfortunately, no lottery players won the $12-million Gold Ball jackpot.
However, the second white ball was drawn, which means someone became $1 million richer overnight. A Calgary lottery player matched all of the winning numbers for the White Ball prize, which were 34713801-01.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 02, 13, 14, 17, 44, 48, and bonus 08. The $5-million top prize went unclaimed, but three lottery players matched five out of six numbers, including the bonus.
Someone from Ontario and two people from Quebec split the second prize, each taking home $61,042.30.
The winning numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 3, 68, 74, and 79. While no one won the $500,000 jackpot, 39 Canadians nabbed the second prize of $1,000.
Weren’t so lucky this time around? The next Lotto Max draw is on Tuesday with a jackpot of $55 million and four Maxmillions up for grabs. Who knows, you could become a Canada Day multimillionaire.
The next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Wednesday with a Gold Ball prize of $14 million.
