Taco Bell launching unexpected viral new menu at locations across Canada this week
Taco Bell Canada is about to drop a selection of unexpected new menu items after their viral debut south of the border.
Taco Bell is known for a lot of things: providing sustenance in the wee hours of the morning after a long night out, producing some of the best fast-food hot sauces around, and Nacho Fries.
Crispy chicken, though, hasn’t historically been one of them, but that’s soon to change. As of Thursday, Sept. 18, Taco Bell Canada is dropping a brand-new crispy chicken menu at locations across the country.
After launching a line of crispy chicken-based menu items to ample fanfare in the United States last year, it’s officially Canada’s turn to see whether the Bell has what it takes to become your new favourite fried chicken spot.
Each new item boasts the beautiful centrepiece of Taco Bell’s Crispy Chicken Tenders, which come coated in a blend of Mexican spices and served with your choice of dipping sauces, includingĀ Spicy RanchĀ andĀ Avocado Ranch.
TheĀ Crispy Chicken Taco, for example, sees the tender placed inside a soft flour tortilla and topped with purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese and your choice of sauces.
TheĀ Crispy Chicken Burrito features all the same toppings, but it’s just, you know, wrapped like a burrito.
If you prefer your crispy chicken free from all the bells and whistles, you can also opt to order theĀ Crispy Chicken TendersĀ straight up. Each order comes with three tenders and a serving of Spicy Ranch.

Taco Bell fans in Toronto are getting the chance to celebrate the launch of the new menu this week.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Sankofa Square on Monday, Sept. 29, Taco Bell fans will be able to sink their teeth into two free tenders and Spicy Ranch, alongside games and giveaways.
