Snoop Dogg is hiring an international ice cream taster who'll earn $14,000 a month
Thinking of quitting your humdrum office job? Turns out there may be a much sweeter career path that involves travelling the world, eating ice cream and, somehow, getting paid an obscene amount of money to do it.
Rapper-turned-business-mogul Snoop Dogg recently announced that heās looking for an international ice cream taster who will earn a whopping US$10,000 a month (no, that’s not a typo!), which, given today’s conversion rates, turns out to be around C$13,900. Not too shabby.
That works out to US$120,000 a year ā or roughly C$166,820 ā which is almost $100,000 more than the average Canadian salary of C$68,700, according to Statistics Canada.
This isnāt exactly a job where you fetch ice cream for Snoop personally. Instead, the position is for his new ice cream company, Dr. Bombay, which he launched with his son, Cordell Broadus, in 2023.
Snoop made a rather unconventional plea for the new gig in a TikTok that has, unsurprisingly, been gaining plenty of attention.

And before your mind wanders: no, there is no weed in Dr. Bombay ice cream. Not yet, anyway.
The company has partnered with hiring platform Deel to find someone who can travel internationally, sample frozen treats, identify emerging flavours and trends, and help shape the products Dr. Bombay puts on shelves.
All you need for the job is a passport and a sweet tooth, really.Ā
