Canadian lottery winner nets a BIG sum off of a simple $7 scratch ticket
A resident of Chestermere, Alta., has won $200,000 from a $7 Lucky Lines Extravaganza Scratch & Win Ticket she bought in Calgary.
Rose Lamoureux, the lucky winner, picked up the ticket at Cambrian Drug Mart in northwest Calgary. She scratched the ticket on her way out of the pharmacy, then quickly turned around to confirm what she was seeing.
“I was pretty sure I had won, so I walked down to the pharmacy,” she said while speaking with Lotto Spot. “When I checked it there, I was in disbelief — I still am!”

Lucky Lines Extravaganza is a scratch ticket offered by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), featuring multiple ways to win, with top prizes reaching into six figures.
Coincidentally, this is not the first time someone in the Lamoureux’s life has won off the same scratch tickets. “I play the Lucky Lines Extravaganza ticket because my mother — who passed years ago — won $50,000 on it,” which makes the win extra special to her.
As for her winnings, Lamoureux already knows what she wants to do with them: “I want to pay my mortgage, share some with family, and put the rest into savings!”Â
