Although no one won the Lotto Max top prize, several Canadian lottery players will take home some big wins.
The draw took place on Tuesday, April 29, and after several draws without a winner, the jackpot had climbed to a massive $65 million. The winning numbers were 03, 11, 14, 29, 33, 38, 45, and the bonus number was 18, but no one won the top prize.
However, someone did match six of the seven numbers and the bonus number to nab the second prize, worth $233,451.30. According to PlayNow, that ticket was sold in Western Canada. Forty-six Canadians will split the third prize after they matched six of the seven winning numbers, each receiving $5,075.
At the time, eight Maxmillions prizes, each worth $1 million, were up for grabs. Three Lotto Max players matched the winning numbers, each winning a Maxmillions prize. Two tickets were sold in Ontario in Bruce County and Toronto, and one was sold in Quebec.
In B.C., no one matched the Lotto Max Extra winning numbers to win the $500,000 prize. Similarly, no one in Ontario won the $1-million Encore prize.
