Several Canadian lottery players won big over the weekend after successful Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 draws.

Friday’s Lotto Max draw had a whopping $40 million jackpot on the line. The winning numbers were 01, 02, 11, 19, 27, 28, 36, and bonus 21.

Sadly, no one matched all seven to nab the multimillion-dollar top prize, but one lottery player from Saskatoon did match six of seven numbers, including the bonus. They’re taking home the second prize of $176,009.20.

The winning numbers for the Lotto Max Extra prize were 8, 27, 40, and 66. No one nabbed the $500,000 top prize; however, 35 Canadians did win $1,000 each.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw had a $16 million Gold Ball jackpot up for grabs. However, with 27 balls still in the pot, that gold ball remains unchosen.

Luckily, a white ball was chosen and one lottery player from Ontario matched all of the winning numbers 56164492-01, taking home the $1 million prize.

The winning numbers for the Classic Draw prize were 03, 09, 18, 25, 43, 45, and bonus 31. Unfortunately, no one won the $5 million jackpot, but someone from Prince Rupert, BC, did win the second prize of $154,152.80 after matching five out of six numbers, including the bonus.

The winning numbers for the Classic Draw Extra prize were 13, 28, 83, and 97. No one won the top lottery prize of $500,000, but 38 Canadians are taking home a modest $1,000.

If you couldn’t beat the odds this time around, the next draws are coming up.

The Lotto Max jackpot for Tuesday’s draw has ballooned to $50 million with two maxmillions up for grabs.

Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has an $18 million jackpot with 26 balls left.
