Canadians from coast to coast are gearing up the excitement for the FIFA World Cup 26™, and there’s one opportunity that’ll guarantee a lifetime of memories for young Canucks.
Kia, a proud partner of FIFA World Cup 26™, is searching for six inspiring young Canadians with a passion for soccer to become Official Match Ball Carriers (OMBCs) at the FIFA World Cup 26™. Six winners will be part of 13 kids who will each carry out the official match ball during a game.
All you have to do is nominate your child and their story for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Honouring your child’s journey
The main aspect of this contest is to shine a light on remarkable children in our communities — children who showcase remarkable strength and pride.
Parents or guardians can submit nominations for the Kia Inspiring Stories Contest from Nov. 24 to Nov. 30. Submissions must include a video (up to two minutes) of your child telling Kia their story and love for soccer — told in their own words. Age eligibility is from June 2011 to July 2016.
Kia wants to know if the child has a remarkable and unique story, how they’ve been bold enough to overcome challenges, drive progress, or make a difference, and if they inspire others. And, of course, all about their love for soccer.
Nominate your child today
Potential winners will be contacted in early 2026 by Kia Canada for a virtual call, and six successful children will win a trip to the FIFA World Cup 26™ as an Official Match Ball Carrier.
Help your child score a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the pinnacle of soccer excellence! Nominate them today over on the Kia Inspiring Stories contest website, and read the full contest rules and regulations.
