Justin Trudeau had the time of his life at the Katy Perry concert in Montreal

If you were at the Katy Perry concert in Montreal on Wednesday, there’s a chance you heard former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “Roar” among the crowd.
Several photos and videos of Trudeau, 53, showed him dancing and singing along to the pop star’s hit song at her The Lifetimes Tour.
He had a fantastic view of Perry, 40, who was suspended in the air on top of a fluttering butterfly.

This sighting comes days after the unlikely pair baffled the internet when they were seen having a dinner date at celebrity chef Danny Smiles’ restaurant Le Plateau’s Le Violon.
The video of the two engaged in conversation at the Montreal hotspot on Monday was shared by TMZ on Tuesday, July 29.
It turns out Trudeau and Perry had a full itinerary that evening. According to TMZ, they were seen strolling through Mount Royal Park an hour and a half before their delicious meal.
The photos show the singer holding her dog Nugget while walking alongside the former politician. TMZ says that Trudeau was “all smiles” as he dropped Perry and her furry friend off at the Ritz-Carlton and that the two kept it casual with no signs of PDA.

Chef Smiles told TMZ that the outing looked platonic, saying that there was no visible PDA that took place during dinner.
The night didn’t end there. Trudeau and Perry were then seen grabbing drinks at Montreal bar Taverne Atlantic.
Sources told TMZ that they enjoyed cocktails on the patio, with Perry sipping on Canadian whiskey. Another video shared by the tabloid news site on Tuesday shows Trudeau walking out of the bar with his “arm practically welded to Katy’s waist.”
Both Trudeau and Perry experienced incredibly public splits with their respective partners. The “Hot N Cold” singer confirmed the end of her relationship with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom earlier this month, while Trudeau split with his ex-wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau in 2023.
