Josh Hartnett and Charlie Heaton share wholesome moment while filming in Canada

It’s not often you see a ’90s heartthrob and a quirky Brit skip rocks in a remote fishing village in Canada, but that’s the case here with Josh Hartnett and Charlie Heaton.
The stars of Below, the wildly popular supernatural Netflix miniseries shot in Newfoundland, were captured taking a break between filming.
Hartnett plays Heaton’s father on the show, a fisherman who wants to protect his family from a mysterious sea creature that threatens his town.
A wholesome video shared by Netflix on TikTok shows the two actors both embracing their inner child with a little rock-skipping competition.
Heaton appears to have the better throws (at least in the beginning, anyway), though Hartnett is a good sport about it, smiling as he admits, “We’re both equally sh*t at it.”

It’s heartwarming to see the two actors doing normal things and having fun together on set, especially in a province the two have both raved about endlessly in interviews for its hospitality and beautiful scenery.
The show made quite the splash when it debuted on Netflix on Oct. 8, having reeled in over 17 million views, which Netflix says is the most-watched debut of a Canadian title ever. It remains the number one show and is leading the way in having more homegrown content on the platform.
Fans can’t get enough of the show and its stars, leaving a stream of positive comments on TikTok.
“This is the best thing I’ve ever seen,” writes one user after watching the video.
Meanwhile, locals give them the stamp of approval. “They look so at home,” one user writes.
“They fit right in! You’d swear that they were born and raised in ‘da rock!” reads another comment.
The other comments on the post are begging the streaming platform to renew Below for a second season.
As of right now, nothing has been confirmed, but if the whole cast, including Hartnett and Heaton, does return, they’ll certainly feel more at home than ever before.
