McDonald’s Canada teams up with Expedia to offer diners new travel perks
A new collaboration between Expedia Canada and McDonald’s is sure to make you say, “I’m lovin’ it.”
On Thursday, the travel site and fast-food chain announced that they’re integrating their loyalty apps to allow McDonald’s Rewards members to “turn their lunch into a hotel booking on Expedia Canada.”
From now until April 30, 2026, MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can redeem points for hotel or activity discounts to use on Expedia Canada.
“This partnership is about turning everyday moments into something extraordinary. Whether it’s a quick bite with friends or a family meal, customers can now turn their McDonald’s Rewards points into real travel savings on Expedia,” stated Clayton Nelson, Expedia Group VP of strategic partnerships. “It’s a simple, exciting way to make travel more accessible and rewarding.”

According to the companies, 2,000 McDonald’s points are equivalent to five per cent off your next Expedia booking on eligible hotels or activities.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards members who earn 4,000 points can get seven per cent off their next Expedia Canada booking on eligible hotels or activities.
“With 100 points earned for every dollar spent, a typical order for a family of four, including burgers, fries, and drinks, could earn enough points to unlock a five per cent discount on a future trip,” stated the companies.
This offer is valid for Canadian residents only and is limited to two Expedia vouchers per MyMcDonald’s Rewards account.
The Expedia Canada discount codes are non-transferable and must be used on eligible bookings. There is a minimum $210 spend required.
The redemption period is from Dec. 1, 2025, at midnight CST to April 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CST, or while supplies last.
You’ll need to book your travel dates between Dec. 1, 2025 and March 31, 2027, to use the offer.
How to redeem points

McDonald’s lovers can redeem their points by going to the My Rewards section of the fast food chain’s app. Once you see that you have enough points to redeem, you can exchange your points for the discount of your choice.
The link below your unique coupon code will direct you to Expedia Canada. The booking must be made through the link provided.
Once you’re on Expedia.ca, search for your dream destination and select an eligible property. On the checkout page, select the “pay now” option and input your code.
You should also receive an email with your unique discount code and the instructions on how to book your trip.
