Since it’s Earth Day, we asked ourselves: what do we mean when we say “eco-friendly products”? With a renewed focus on the environment (and our impact on it), brands have increasingly leaned into the clean, green, climate-change-fighting labels, making it harder than ever to figure out which options are real, truthful, and — perhaps most importantly — worth your money.
In our eyes, we define the term to mean any product that, in some way, supports or helps the environment, whether it’s by using recycled fabric, sustainably sourcing or even upcycling ingredients, or promoting and enabling circular usage (hello, refillable packaging!).
