Canadians who want to visit Disneyland Resort in California or Disney World Resort in Florida may need to spend more money, depending on when they plan to visit.

Disney is hiking one-day, single-park ticket prices and some annual passes for its U.S. theme parks during peak times, which include the upcoming holidays.

“Disney Parks offer a full day of experiences each day, with ticket, hotel, and dining options designed to suit a wide range of needs and budgets for all who visit,” a Disney spokesperson told Daily Hive in a statement. “Our commitment to creating magical experiences for everyone remains at the heart of what we do — and that will never change.”

At Disney World, ticket prices for guests aged 10 and older may exceed the current maximum price for a one-day ticket — approximately US$199 (C$277) — during the holiday season.

The Happiest Place on Earth experiences high demand during the holidays, which is why it recently paused sales on one-day, single-park tickets to Magic Kingdom for New Year’s Eve.

According to the Disney World site, a single-day, single-park ticket for Dec. 31, 2025, can range from US$174 to US$199 (C$242 to C$277), depending on the park you’re visiting.

Disney World guests can save on additional costs in the park, including free dining for kids for an entire calendar year, as well as other room and ticket discounts.

Disneyland will see the lowest price increase in several years. Five of its seven ticket tiers will increase by three per cent or less.

The park plans to keep its lowest price point at US$104 (C$145). According to the calendar on the Disneyland site, 32 days cost US$104 in the next six months.

You may want to avoid buying tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth during the Christmas season, as it becomes one of the priciest places on Earth. The Disneyland calendar shows single-day, single-park tickets going for US$224 (C$312) from Dec. 20 to Jan. 3.

Disneyland’s two top-tier passes — the Inspire and Believe Magic Key Passes — will also see price hikes.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, the Inspire pass, which provides the most year-round access and the highest merchandise and food discounts, is now priced at US$1,899 (C$2,649), up from US$1,749. The Believe pass increases by US$100 to US$1,474 (C$2,056).

Disneyland Resort in California celebrated its 70th anniversary this year.
