Costco Canada is currently offering a sweet membership deal
If you don’t already have a Costco Canada membership, now’s your chance to get one with a sweet deal.
The big-box store currently has two special offers for shoppers who want to sign up as new members.
Canadians who sign up as an Executive Member can receive an online voucher for $100 off a $250 purchase made on the Costco Canada website. Those who sign up as a Gold Star Member will get an online voucher for $50 off a $150 purchase online.
The Executive Membership costs $130 per year, while a Gold Star Membership costs $65 per year. These include one free household card for primary and affiliate members over the age of 16 and living at the same address.
Costco raised its annual membership fees in 2024 for the first time in years. The Gold Star membership increased from $60, and the higher-tier Executive membership jumped from $120.

If you’re wondering which membership you should get, it may depend on how often you plan on shopping at Costco.
The Gold Star is a basic membership that includes perks like member-only fuel pricing at Costco Canada gas stations and access to Costco Travel packages.
The Executive Membership offers additional benefits, including an annual two per cent reward of up to $1,250 on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases, a $10 monthly credit on same-day or Costco via Instacart, and additional discounts on Costco services.
You can even calculate how much you could earn as an Executive Member with two per cent back annually on the store’s site.

Only new members or memberships that have expired for 18 months or more are eligible to take advantage of this deal.
Shoppers who want to purchase the Executive Membership will enter the promo code COSTCO100 at checkout. Those buying the Gold Star Membership will enter the promo code COSTCO50.
You will then receive an email from the store that will include your membership number. Bring the email to the membership counter at any Costco location in Canada to pick up your membership cards.
Shoppers should then receive an email within two to four business days with their Costco.ca online voucher to use towards their next online purchase.
This deal expires on Aug. 30, 2026, so grab it while you can on Costco’s site.
