The mind of a Canadian man resident blanked out after realizing his massive lottery win from the Sept. 5 Lotto Max draw.
Jung-Chien Cheng, a Richmond, B.C., resident, was at home and discovered his new fortune via the BCLC Lotto! app.
“I wasn’t thinking anything; my mind was empty for a few seconds, and then I saw the million and thought, ‘this is good, this is great!’”
Cheng might not have been thinking much about the victory, but his son had his mind set on something immediately.
“He reacted by saying, ‘I want to buy Minecraft,'” Cheng shared.
The Canadian father has some additional essential priorities he’s focusing on, thanks to the lottery win. As he shared with BCLC, he is setting his sights on paying off his mortgage. He also shared his feelings about winning the big prize.
“I feel excited. I can breathe easier.”
Cheng purchased his ticket from Parker Place Convenience Centre on No. 3 Rd. in Richmond.
According to BCLC, players have redeemed over $163 million in winnings from Lotto Max across the country. The game draws on Tuesdays and Fridays after 7:30 p.m.
Considering you can get Minecraft for as low as $30, hopefully Cheng does his son a solid and buys him the damn game.
