Bell customers will soon have the option for a faster mobile data plan in Canada.
On Thursday, Bell Canada announced 5G+ Advanced. The telecommunications giant says this is its fastest network yet, “delivering unprecedented speeds and paving the way towards 6G.”
According to the company, 5G+ Advanced is powered by Bell’s latest spectrum deployment and its new 5G standalone core. This produces greater capacity, lower latency and theoretical peak download speeds that will reach 4.3 Gbps, which will provide a faster network for users to shop, stream, game and video chat.
“Connection is everything, and at Bell, it starts with delivering the best 5G wireless network to Canadians,” stated Blaik Kirby, group president of consumer and small business at Bell. “Customers can count on faster speeds, richer experiences and more ways to do what they love – today and into the future.”
