Summer House reality star Amanda Batula has taken to her social media to question the reliability of Air Canada after the Bravo star booked a last-minute trip to see Taylor Swift in Vancouver.
Batula says the trip from Amazon Prime was announced at the very last minute, and she couldn’t believe it was happening.
“I’m going to the Eras Tour, and I’m so excited about it,” the reality star said on her Instagram story on Thursday night while she packed for the trip from her home in the United States.

She added that her husband, Kyle Cooke, also a Summer House star, would be going to Canada with her to see the show. He shared on his story that he had to get a jacket for the show because Vancouver is “50 degrees and raining.”
“I’m hoping to win husband of the year,” he said. “Can’t wait. This is going to be quite the 48-hour journey.”
But, that trip seemed to take a turn for the worst.

“Before we even took off this morning, we were told that the connecting flight got rebooked and we weren’t going to get in until 9 tonight and the show starts at 7 pm, and that wasn’t going to work. So we are in Montreal now,” she shared from the airport Friday morning.

“We managed to rebook a completely different connecting flight that will get us in sometime before the concert. But the last time we flew Air Canada, the same thing happened to us: our flight just got cancelled, and we were stuck in Italy overnight at the airport,” she said.
While the star was clearly stressed by the trip and the unknowns, despite her concerns, the story has a happy ending.
“Against all odds, we made it,” she shared mid-morning Friday, along with a photo of herself on the airplane.

Batula is among the more than 100,000 out-of-town guests coming to the shows this weekend.
According to organizers, the vast majority of ticket holders aren’t from Vancouver, which has led to a lot of excitement from the tourism and hospitality industry, but some annoyances for locals due to road closures.

Air Canada said that the airline’s biggest priority is safety, and it has heard that Batula was en route. Adding that even the airline is getting wrapped up in Taylor Swift’s excitement.
“We know that many people are flying to YVR this weekend, and as a special celebration, we are giving out special friendship bracelets on select flights to Vancouver so Swifties can start festivities early,” Air Canada said.
