YYC Vegan Week kicks off in Calgary on May 19
Calgary’s first annual week-long vegan festival, YYC Vegan Week, officially kicks off next month.
Brought to us by the team behind VegFest Calgary, this celebration of all food plant-based kicks off on May 19 and runs until the 25.

The soon-to-be-announced participating restaurants will be offering a new or existing vegan dish to be voted on in two categories: Best Vegan Meal and Best Vegan Dessert.
Just like YYC Burger Batter and YYC Hot Chocolate Fest, diners will be able to vote for their favourite dishes online before a winner is chosen when the fest wraps.
A dollar from each item sold will go towards non-profit event VegFest Calgary.
