City-wide celebration of noodles kicks off in Calgary next week

A city-wide celebration of noodles kicks off in Calgary next week, with tons of top restaurants taking part.
YYC Noodle Festival is officially back in action from Thursday, Nov. 5 and will run until Sunday, Nov. 15, giving Calgarians the chance to try dozens of unique and innovative noodle dishes.
Restaurants all over the city will be competing in categories including the Top Rated Noodle for the best noodle dish in town, the Power Fundraiser for the restaurant that raises the most money, and the Most Creative Noodle for the most unique dish.
YYC Noodle Festival will be raising funds for the Leftovers Foundation, an organization that rescues good food from landfills and redirects it back to the community and non-profits. A portion of each bowl of noodles sold throughout the festival will be donated to the Leftovers Foundation.
