YYC Hot Chocolate Fest 2016: All 29 participating cafés and restaurants
Now in its 5th year, the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest’s annual celebration returns to Calgary, bringing with it copious amounts of indulgent and comforting cocoa.
During the month of February, participating Calgary-based cafés, restaurants, and chocolatiers will have their YYC Hot Chocolate Fest menus on offer. A total of 29 participants will be crafting some of the best and most unique hot chocolates to support Calgary Meals on Wheels.
Customers averting Calgary’s winter chill with warming hot chocolate renditions will have the chance to vote for their favourite festival drink, which will ultimately win the coveted title of “Calgary’s Best Hot Chocolate.”
YYC Hot Chocolate Fest’s official launch takes place on Saturday, January 30, at the Calgary Farmers’ Market, from 11 a.m. to 12 .p.m., where free hot chocolate samples will be handed out by various vendors.
