These are the winners of this year's YYC Music Awards

The YYC Music Awards were held virtually this weekend, crowning Calgary’s top local talent.

The awards were unveiled via livestream on Saturday, September 20, with the usual gala being cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Still, the city’s music scene was able to come together to celebrate the winners of 23 different categories during the fifth annual event.

“Calgary’s music community is resilient, diverse, and always stands together. We have a lot to celebrate – each other, our amazing accomplishments, and the wonderful community of music makers and supporters,” a release from the event organizers stated.
