While the rides are fun, the exhibits exciting, and the nightlife unforgettable, there really isn’t any aspect of the Calgary Stampede that more embodies what the 10-day celebration of western culture is all about quite like the rodeo.

Taking place every afternoon at 1:30 pm, the Calgary Stampede Rodeo features skilled cowgirls and cowboys competing in a wide range of events.

By the end of the Stampede, $2 million in prize money will be distributed to winners of the following competitions:

• Barrel Racing
• Novice Bareback Riding
• Tie-Down Roping
• Steer Wrestling
• Junior Steer Riding
• Novice Saddle Bronc
• Saddle Bronc
• Bull Riding
• Bareback

To make matters even more exciting, we’re offering a pair of tickets to one of the first days of the rodeo on Saturday, July 6.

These tickets will give you prime seats to watch all the action unfold, and, as a cherry on top, the rodeo tickets also give you access to the rest of Stampede Park to enjoy all that this year’s Greatest Outdoor Show On Earth has to offer!
