Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right? Well, at these 10 Calgary restaurants, it’s all about shining when you rise–even if you’re up early and need someone else to do the cooking. Check out these nine great weekday breakfast spots (some with two locations) that are all open at 7:30 a.m. or earlier.

Dairy Lane Cafe

Open since 1950, this West Hillhurst restaurant tags themselves as being “homegrown and homemade.” Sourcing from local farmers and suppliers, Dairy Lane focuses on sustainability and community. Order a Benny or one of their playful breakfast tostadas.

Bumpy’s Cafe

At Bumpy’s they say their “oven is full from morning ’til night, just like Grandma’s,” and if you happen to need to eat at 6:30 a.m. during the week, they’re open to serve. The Edmonton Trail location of Diner Deluxe is open at 7:30 a.m. daily (their Aspen Landing location opens at 8 a.m.) and offers a tempting menu of made-from-scratch comfort eats.
